Probably b orn in North Cartolina. Married Ruth Hibbens. They bought government land and moved to Johnson Copunty, Illinois. They lived on a farm near the present little town of Simpson. In 1853 they sold out and moved to Jasper County, Missouri. A few years later they moved to White County, Arkansas.
